TERMINALFOUR pages consist of a template and content items. The template is the wrapper of the page, and content items go into the content area in the center. To place a content item, add content, then select which content type you would like to use. That type will be cloned onto the page as an item, and you will then need to fill out a series of input boxes to customize the type for your page.
Some content types work in combination with each other to form particular effects. For example, a Standard Image type will ask for a position on the page (left or right) and a width (in percentage width of the content area). If you place a Wrapping Body Content type after it, text will start aligned with the top of the image and then flow around it. By familiarizing yourself with the available content types and becoming aware of their interactions, you can form pages such as those found in the gallery of page layouts. Each page in the gallery has instructions for which types to use in which order to form it.
Plain HTML can be used in the content editor and inline CSS is allowed (while adhering to branding guidelines). CSS blocks are sanitized from the output. This is to provide some degree of flexibility while also enforcing branding uniformity and forward content compatibility requirements for future brand updates, so the capabilities of the CMS are more guided than what might be found on a stock WordPress, Ghost, or Drupal install with admin privileges.
